We meet new people, move to new places, and do new things every day as life goes on. However, there are some things that are irreplaceable. Love, Family, and Home. It’s no surprise that we’ve moved several times and changed buildings. Over the years, we’ve welcomed new members to our family and have lost few loved ones too. But the warmth inside our home is still the same.
We seek safety in our homes from the moment we are born, family feeds us, and love keeps us moving forward till our last breath. Whatever country or religion we come from, these are the essentials that we ever value. We fathom the spirit of love as generations of humanity coexist. The fragrance of love that pervades the house, no matter how big or little it is, is incomparable. Our bond is unbreakable, regardless of how wealthy or poor our family is. After all, we are only imperfect beings. Family forgives mistakes. Home heals broken hearts. All we ever need is love to get through another day.
Always remember your roots no matter how far you go from the place where you grew up. This little piece of reminder keeps us grounded at all times. Never forget where you came from, but don’t let that hold you back from where you want to go in life. Home is where we all belong. Embrace your heritage. Keep an open mind to understand and respect other cultures. Take a look back and reflect on how far you’ve come. Leave a legacy of the values that shaped you and helped you become the person you are now.
One thing that the pandemic has taught us all – life is precious. Learn to appreciate small things in life, especially the things we often take for granted and pay less heed to. Be compassionate towards other humans like yourself and million other creatures on the Earth as much as possible. Cherish every moment and person you meet because you never know when it’s the last time you see someone. Only memories remain, soon they will also fade away. And amidst all the chaos, remember to take a deep breath and to be grateful for everything we have.
